正在褪色中的勿洛蓄水池

这两年来,勿洛蓄水池正在大兴土木,在短短的一公里内,公寓林立,污染、噪音此起彼落,而这里有两所学校,真的是苦了老师和学生们……苦难的日子还没完没了呢!告示说:为你的生活掀开一页,我想问:是好还是坏的?




两三年前,突然掀起兴建电梯热,本岛各地都在建电梯。可是这座组屋的电梯和两座”娱乐综合城“几乎是同时兴建的,到现在,赌城已经赚得脑肥肠饱,可是这组电梯还没完成。终于明白了,小的工程有时候是比较复杂和难搞的!



勿洛蓄水池原本是一个大水坑,历经几十年的经营终于是一个让人们散步、运动、放松的地方。可是,这么恬静和风景宜人的地方,似乎少了一点东西,于是乎当局就挂上一块告示,要把仅有的山丘变成公寓。哀哉!我还以为这里已经规划为鸟类的丛林了。毕竟,金钱的诱惑远胜过人们和动物朋友的福祉吧。很快的,这里就是围起篱笆,筑起高墙,“闲人止步”的“私有”财产了!再见,绿色的草木、飞禽的叫声!



坦白说,我们人类需要多少所房子来住、多少张床来睡、多大的空间来过活。若到处都建满了公寓和钢骨水泥的建筑物,我们是否就会更加舒服、生活素质就会更加提升呢?



也许是要人们渐渐习惯变迁吧,当局开始有系统的把山坡和小丘上的大树砍掉,想潜移默化地改变这一片绿色的景观!图中的松树被切去了“顶”。山上的另一棵大树也被切成一块块,躺在那里呻吟!

再见了,在雨中或烈阳中撑伞的树荫……



准备迎接的是遍地的污染、噪声、灰尘、以及所引起的敏感、哮喘、咳嗽声……

坦白说,我一直都在想国家的发展步伐如果一直以这种形式下去,大部分的国人是否就有前景?是否,我们真的就可以过着第一世界的生活,还是好像骆驼肩负了一辈子的债务,默默耕耘,直到生命中的最后一刻,才发现“我真的一无所有”,因为最后一把储蓄都花在“病床“上了?

    刘先生, 你可否指出这个将要发展的准确位置是在哪里?我常在勿浴蓄水池一带跑步,包括跑上山丘去,都没有见到有什么发展计划的牌工,是靠近哪一座组屋呢?谢谢!

  2. 文心网友,URA最近在勿洛蓄水池小丘面对十字路的山坡上放了那张告示牌,公开招标。这几天,有关告示牌不见了,可能已经完成招标或是当局改变初衷?若发展起来,有关山丘有至少一半不见了,接近丛林的那条石头小路可能还存在而和公寓毗邻,或是也随着消失,在建筑过程中的污染,以及之间和过后丛林的被破坏,让这一片恬静的小丘氛围恐怕也荡然无存。同样的情况也在武吉智马丘出现,经常去那里打太极的朋友告诉,他们不去那里了,因为山下大事建筑公寓,整个环境污染和乱糟糟的。

  5. 心宇:我已把NPB的回复发送到 edwinlowkh@gmail.com ,你不妨查看一下,其他一些空地不是在NPB的管辖范围内,因此Ferren Zeng没说是或不是,不过肯定的是Bedok Reservoir Park 的hilltop不受影响。你也可以联络Ferren Zeng 问个明白。

  6. Reply from URA: "The signboard shown in your snapshot refers to the plot of land parcel next to the existing HDB Reservoir Village development that has been recently sold for low rise residential development, up to a maximum height of 5-storeys.
    We understand and appreciate your concern about the loss of open space and greenery in the Bedok Reservoir area. However, this parcel of land is not part of Bedok Reservoir Park which has been safeguarded as greenery and waterbodies under the Master Plan 2008 – Parks and Waterbodies Plan.

    The future residential development will not be at the expense of park land. In addition, to balance the development with nature conservation, the authorities will be working with the successful tenderer to retain as many mature trees as possible within the land parcel."
